• type "P"and "Adjustable P” generally used for Portuguese or Marseille tiles with a wooden or concrete base. 
• type "C adjustable” often used for brackets on concrete slabs with waterproofing membranes or Canadian-type shingles.  
• of type “Adjustable R” used for terracotta tiles and with wooden or concrete base.
