Create a connecting flexible busbar solution between MCCBs (Molded Case Circuit Breakers) and distribution blocks.
Guarantee high-standard safety levels and keep a suitable heating for high-power electric charging systems.
OUR SOLUTION:
The collaboration between our Technical Department and the Customer's engineers gave life to an optimized solutionto fit the limited space and the bending requirements.
Additionally, thanks to our Coflex Plus (tinned copper), we were able to meet the customer’s challenging technical resistance specifications.
ADVANTAGES OF FLEXIBLE BUSBARS:
- Cost-effectiveness, due to the greater ease of bending flexible busbars.
- Space advantagedue to the presence of insulations it is possible to install flexible busbars very close to each other.
- Ease of installation, given the flexible nature of the bars.
- Material savings, due to better electrical performance. For example, in this case, the initial section of the rigid bar was 100mm2, whereas with flexible busbars we opted for an 80mm2 (Coflex 4x20x1) saving approximately 20% in copper.
